A recently published thriller involed a businessmen's retreat in the Canadian rockies. Slowly but surely, someone is assasinating the business men. I recall one of the villains was pretending to be diabetic, and was an official of the company. A great book. Does anyone know the title?

Hi, new here. I figured you might be able to help me. I'm looking for a book that was an Edgar Award nominee. I picked it up at the bookstore this weekend but put it back because I wanted to research it first...and now I can't remember the title or author. I've been having some WEIRD dreams lately!! (Nightmares, more or less.) I think perhaps it has something to do with my steady diet of reading mystery novels and watching only mystery/crime/sci-fi TV shows.
So I think I'm going to take a break from mystery reading/watching for awhile and read Harlequin Romances and watch sitcoms for awhile!

Does anyone read her? She used to be one of those author's that I couldn't wait for her next book out. And then about 2 years ago I lost track of her. Last week at the library I saw 2 new books by her..The Headmaster's Wife and Hardscrabble Road..They are excellent. I am remembering why I missed her so much.

I'm a new author. I have three novels in the Colton Parker mystery series coming out over the next nine months. The first of these, "Original Sin" will be out in March 2006.

Since I am trying to establish myself, I am interested in hearing what attracts all of you, as readers, to a particular author. Is there any one thing that seems to do it for you? Is there any one thing that can turn you off of an author.

So I just finished Deep Pockets, because Barnes is a pretty good writer. And then I started thinking. The more I thought, the more I realized the plot made no sense at all. Why the fire? What was the plan? This was supposed to be a really clever crook, but the whole thing made no sense.
